Mgbowo Diaspora Community Convenes Historic Reunion, Fostering Unity and Progress
In a groundbreaking gathering, the Mgbowo diaspora community in the United States and Canada came together for a historic meeting on Saturday, March 29, 2025, marking a significant milestone in the community's journey. This momentous occasion, facilitated by the innovative use of Zoom technology, brought together individuals from diverse locations, transcending geographical boundaries and time zones.
Igwe John Ibe's clarion call for unity resonated deeply with the attendees, who recognized the imperative of unity in the face of adversity. He poignantly reminded attendees that "united we stand; divided we fall." This message served as a rallying cry for the community, inspiring a renewed commitment to their heritage and cultural preservation.
The meeting was distinguished by the attendance of a diverse group of prominent individuals, fondly referred to as "The Patriots." These dedicated individuals, who responded to the call for unity despite time differences and geographical locations, included:

Furthermore, in a remarkable display of solidarity, the two Royal Fathers of Ndi Mgbowo, Igwe John Ibe of Ekpulambo and Igwe Ituma of Ekpulato, along with their respective Traditional Prime Ministers, Ndi Nze Mgbowo, notable Chiefs, President Generals of the two autonomous communities, and Mgbowo elders, converged at the palace of Igwe John Ibe. This unprecedented gathering reaffirmed the community's commitment to unity and progress.
As the Mgbowo diaspora community continues to forge ahead, united in their pursuit of progress and preservation of their heritage, they remain a shining example of the transformative power of unity and collective action.
