The Traditional Rulers of the two autonomous communities of Mgbowo, HRH Igwe Engr John Ibe Ohabuenyi II,HRH Gregory Ituma Onyima II and the prime minister of Ekpulambo Mgbowo Chief Augustine Ezenwaka Okanga II on Monday 31st August 2020 flagged off the skill training and sensitization program organized by the leadership of National Association of Mgbowo Students Worldwide NAMS doggedly led by Comr Ikeh Obinna George for its immediate commencement.
The flagging off ceremony started with an opening prayer and a welcome address by the chairman of the planning/working committee Comr Ude Michael Chinonso who in his speech urged the participants to take the training seriously.
The both traditional rulers in their speech commended the leadership of NAMS for the wonderful initiative and also urged the participants to take the training seriously and avoid quarrels or fights during the course of the training and also adhere to the covid 19 preventive measures.
The Prime minister prayed and blessed the Mgbowo students with the kola as tradition demands.
After the prime ministers blessings, then the official flagging off and cutting of the ribbon by the traditional rulers then followed the inspection of the classes which the President and the executives with the committees led the traditional rulers round the classes.
The president of the association, Comr Ikeh Obinna George thanked the both traditional rulers for making out time to flag the program off and also for the support,advice and encouragement the traditional council is giving to the association.
